Therapy for relationships and the self.
I’m Dani Knoll, LMFT. Whether something feels stuck, strained, or just ready to shift, I offer a space to explore what that means for you.
About Me
I work with individuals and couples who are repairing, growing, or perhaps thoughtfully ending a relationship—whether with a partner or within themselves. My approach is based in exploring what first connected you to someone or to a version of yourself: what clicked, what sustained you, and what you aim to see happen now. Starting with these origins often helps clarify both strengths and challenges.
Together, we'll focus on your goals, since naming what you want may also highlight the obstacles in the way. The work can be tough, but conflict, internal or relational, can offer opportunities to learn and grow. I help explore underlying issues, cultivate communication skills, and support a creative, collaborative process where what needs to emerge can.
I see clients via telehealth and typically have flexible availability throughout the week. In your first visit, you can expect a nonjudgmental, reflective conversation centered on what brings you here and where you'd like to go.
A note on pronouns: I use they/them. I don’t take it personally if it takes time to settle in and hold space for the adjustment that can take.
What I Offer
Every process is collaborative, goal-focused, and shaped around what you want to see happen.
One-on-one sessions grounded in exploring your relationship with yourself: what you want, what’s in the way, and how to move toward the life you’re aiming for.
Support for couples repairing, developing, or thoughtfully ending a relationship. We look at origins, recurring patterns, and what each partner is working toward now.
Working with families to understand the dynamics, histories, and patterns that shape how you relate, and to build clearer, more connected ways of being together.
Drawing on psychodynamic principles alongside other therapeutic approaches to explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape present relationships and sense of self.
A fully affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. Identity, coming out, relationship dynamics, and community are welcome parts of our work together.
Knowledgeable, non-judgmental support for those in ethically non-monogamous or polyamorous relationships, navigating the unique dynamics, agreements, and communication they involve.
